Cal Skate Skateboards

This is calsk8.com, the home of Cal Skate Skateboards, the largest and oldest skate shop in Portland. We specialize in our huge deck selection, including old school decks, decks from local Portland artists, and our infamous Cal’s complete.

Cal Skate Skateboards has been a business of skaters serving skaters since 1976. We’ve been in downtown Portland promoting skateboarding, helping with skateparks, doing some skateboard activism, making art, and of course, selling some sick boards.

We are located on 6th avenue, which is a bus transit street and has no parking (nor does 5th avenue). The closest cross street is Davis, which has meter parking (as do most of the streets around). Across Davis is a flat fee parking lot. There is also a parking garage within our building, which is accessible on Everett St. between 6th and 5th. A good bet for meter parking is in the North Park Blocks (between 8th ave and Park Ave). Otherwise, public transit is quite convenient, as it is right out front.

You can now Park on 6th Avenue in front of the shop until December when testing for the light rail service starts with service starting in June of 2009
